European kids sizes are the child's height in cm (EU 116 = ~116 cm tall); UK/US sizes are age or Toddler T. Height + weight decide, chest/waist only after age 8.

- Never size kids by chest/waist — height (cm) rules for EU, age for UK/US.
- "T" is not "T-shirt" — it means Toddler, cut boxier than the same number without T.
- Boys vs girls diverge in proportion after ~age 8; don't reuse the other chart.
- EU sizes run slimmer/more fitted than US. If the child is on the heavier side, size up.
- Check every few months — a Size 6 that fit in spring is tight by autumn.
